But what about YouTube "celebrities"? There is always someone who will call them NPDs, yet they are just being themselves and helping people. Without people they would not be "celebrities" because people influenced them be that way.

Mar 15, 2017 at 15:22 comment added Boris_yo Well, I bet those minority (or few of that minority) are one of happiest people because they don't care. When you don't care about things that are not important, you focus on things that are truly important to you and you succeed in life. I know what is important for me but unfortunately I let things that are not important influence me.
Mar 15, 2017 at 13:58 comment added anongoodnurse @Boris_yo - I'm sure there are people with whom this does not occur, but I'd wager they are in the minority. All medical students are taught this because it happens to doctors all the time, and we are not all highly sensitive people.
Mar 15, 2017 at 9:56 comment added Boris_yo I thought this is only true for highly sensitive people.

Mar 14, 2017 at 19:56 comment added anongoodnurse I'd say more that you absorb the emotion, then you step back and ask, "why am I feeling this way?"
