I recently attempted the Mensa challenge test , which can be taken for free on the mensa website and involves answering 35 problems within 25 mins. (https://www.mensa.org/public/mensa-iq-challenge)
They do mention that it is only for entertainment purposes, but people on quora seem to suggest that it gives an accurate ballpark score.
The first time I attempted a test, my score came out as 92. I heard a lot of 90 IQ people say that they were slower in school, got through
Is it but with C grades etc after working hard etc etc. But I didn't have any such troubles, was considered well above average in school and don't have any trouble understanding any concepts till date(I am currently 19 years old and in first year of college). I scored 88 percentage in my final exam at school and got 95/100 in physics. Besides, I am generally intellectually inclined and readreally accurate? What about a lot. I know that amassing knowledge is quite different from being intelligent but still.
Is it possible thatperson who scored 90 on the test resultbut is skewed in some way-am I really onlypretty above average(I hope to become a physicist and hence this test result was a little bit of a bummer. I know I am no genius but this was way below my expectations)? Or am I just being delusional and overestimated myself in real life?
And, I don't think that iq tests are obsolete , so please don't tell me it doesn't matter. Yes, intelligence might be a little more complicated, but itHow is still only a developing theory so let us not set too much scoreit different from an IQ test administered by that just yet.
thank you.a trained psychologist?
