| Jul 31, 2021 at 20:46 | comment | added | user7852 | different 'interpretations' here seem to stem simply from what we mean by 'intelligence' and 'racism'. the author assumes special abilities are alike to IQ in immunity from racism, but development processes are not (so IQ isn't cultural but measures something that differs). that personality is alike to intelligence, but not developmental processes (so intelligence is genetic and differs). I think I've shown how these arguments can be flipped inside out, and believe if the author does believe that American culture is racist, he should acknowledge that his argument is really too weak. that's all | |
