I was recently listening to Huberman's podcast where he said that disturbed REM sleep causes people to make odd connections and I was wondering if there is any relation between distorted REM sleep and unusual creativity.

Many creative people seem to suffer fom REM sleep problems that eventually cause to some of them brain illness(like lewy body dementia).

Like Robbin Williams(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Williams) Kant(https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20451446/) and Rob Floyd(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_W._Floyd)

Is there any paper investigating the relation between disturbed REM sleep and creativity or presents a statistical analysis or historical persons of unusual creativity and their sleep habits and disturbances?
