As you activate the parasympathetic nervous system through meditation your overall emotional regulation drastically improves.

But as you activate the PNS in this aspect are you accelerating your overall emotional regulation through the 4 stages of competence for all negative emotional states at the same time?

How does this relate to progressing your emotional regulation through the 4 stages of competence as direct result of not responding to an emotion as it is induced?

If PNS activation is directly proportional to SNS deactivation does that mean you can theoretically regress your emotional regulation back through the 4 stages of competence?

How is this explained in regards to your mind achieving unconscious competence at the regulation in the first place? Is theoretical unconscious competence indefinite?
