Hello I'm desigining a home-made EEG and I have a question about noise interference in electrodes.

I understand that the noise picked up by the electrodes tends to be much larger than the neural signals themselves. Is the noise itself constant across the scalp? To what extent would noise from the front of the scalp and the back be the same?
