I've read that extroversion means that a person gets energy from interacting with others.

From https://www.verywellmind.com/signs-you-are-an-extrovert-2795426

Extroverts tend to find such social interactions refreshing and they actually gain energy from such exchanges. When extroverts have to spend a lot of time alone, they often begin to feel uninspired and listless. If given a choice between spending time alone and spending time with other people, an extrovert will almost always choose to spend time with a group.

So i would like to put emphasis on the "almost always" part of the quoted text.

Is it possible though that some interactions are not created equal and that an extroverted person would actually lose energy when interacting with certain groups?
