If someone has a miserable childhood and has Dysthymia, but then they suffer from amnesia and forget everything, are they cured of their depression?

    $\begingroup$ Note that movie-style retrograde amnesia is incredibly rare, and when it occurs it is typically the result of major brain trauma and even more rarely limited to only amnesia. $\endgroup$ – Bryan Krause Jun 3 at 20:43
