The saccadic countermanding task is used to measure response inhibition (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0042698999000115). It is basically the stop-signal task that makes use of the eye-tracking paradigm. I would like to know if people have used emotional faces as task irrelevant stimuli during the task (not an emotional stop-signal task in which the emotional faces are part of the task)?

Also, what is the difference between a saccadic countermanding paradigm and double-step saccade task?
